30th Juz Hifz Starter Class

• Memorization of 30th Juz and 40 Hadith
• Learn basic Fiqh
• Develop love and desire to memorize entire Qur’an
• Class taught by Shaykh Houzaifa Patel

Junior Islamic Class

• Learn to read Qur’an with fluency – completion of Qai’dah reader
• Memorize daily dua’s, learn Adab and Ahklaq
• Class taught by Shaykh Zahir Bacchus
• Note – this class runs from July 7 – Aug 1, 2008

Hifz Class

• Continuation of our successful Hifz program taught by Shaykh Abdul Wahid
• Any students who have partially memorized are eligible to enroll in this class and continue with an individualized program structured by the teacher

Classes are only open to Adult Sisters

Overview: This weekly class is part two of a series of 3 detailed modules on the rules of tajweed. This module will focus on the tajweed rules using book two.

This course will include in-class assignments and homework. Students who would be interested in this course are those who can commit to the classes and the assignments given.

* Mushaf (copy of the Quran)

New sisters Halaqa class

Halqah: Excellence of Character

Description: This course for sisters only will examine the virtues and morals of a believer that has been defined by our prophetic tradition. Sisters that would be interested in this halqah would be those who are seeking knowledge to strengthen their character through the words and wisdoms of our pious masters.

Teacher: Ustadha Saiema Din Syed

Text: Students are not obliged to purchase texts for this halqah, however two main sources will be used; The Risala by Imam al-Qushayri and The Book of Assistance by Imam al-Haddad.

Date: Every Fridays starting Friday July 11, 2008 to September 5th, 2008

Initial Tafseer of Surah Luqman and BBQ

Celebrate Eid-Milaud-un-Nabi

This Sunday Halaqa class will have a special presentation on Eid Milaud-Un-Nabi by Shaykh Zahir Bacchus at the Brampton Sunnatul Islamic Association. A brunch will be served follow the talk.
