Arabic Language Classes – Level Two
This weekly class is a “slow and steady approach” which aims to give the student a chance to begin to grasp Arabic as a language. Level Two is a 3 month course which will use a six book series commonly used in highly acclaimed Arabic language schools in Saudi Arabia and Damascus, Syria. These workbooks will supplement and re-enforce what is discussed in class. Lote Tree Foundation
The Lote Tree Foundation was initially founded in 2003 after the return of Shaykh Zahir and Umm Bilal from their 7-year Classical Islamic Studies abroad in Syria. It was then formally registered as a Not-For-Profit Charitable Organization in 2005 as a Project of MYCC (Muslim Youth and Community Center). It was created to serve the community through the establishment of an Islamic Learning and Resource Centre using Classical Methodologies.
Since 2003, the Foundation has been increasingly providing the community with such services as:
- Full-time/Part-time Children’s Islamic School
- Children’s Arabic Immersion Programs with Homeschooling Assistance
- Traditional Islamic Adult Classes
- Dawah Outreach Programs
- Counseling Services
